A bit about me.

As a skilled clinician with years of experience, I am dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate their most challenging experiences. I provide a safe and welcoming environment where clients can freely process their emotions and struggles. My passion for this work drives me to continually pursue additional training to enhance my therapeutic skills, ensuring that I offer the best support possible. I find great fulfillment in helping others find their way through difficult times, and I am committed to being a trustworthy ally in their journey toward healing.

My specialties have been focused on supporting individuals grappling with addiction, anxiety, and grief. Through my past training, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of these complex issues, allowing me to provide effective guidance and support. Despite my expertise in this specific area, I am also highly skilled at supporting individuals with a diverse range of issues. I am committed to staying current with my training through ongoing education and professional development. This equips me to assist individuals facing a variety of other challenges, ensuring that I can tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each person I work with.

I've recently developed a strong interest in providing support and education for neurodivergent clients, particularly those with ADHD, Autism (ASD), or both (AuDHD). I’m also focused on assisting parents of neurodivergent children, as well as the unique challenges faced by parents of multiples, helping them navigate their experiences and foster understanding within their families. This commitment allows me to empower both individuals and families in their journeys toward acceptance and personal growth.

A bit about my practice.

In my practice, I blend Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with Brainspotting and EMDR to create a comprehensive therapeutic experience tailored to each client’s needs. As a certified Brainspotting practitioner and EMDR trained therapist, I draw on specialized training in various topics that address the multitude of challenges clients may face. With over a decade of experience in employing ACT, I have completed numerous trainings focused on the different areas in which individuals often feel stuck. This integrated approach not only fosters a safe environment for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions but also facilitates profound breakthroughs and healing after years of feeling immobilized.

The combination of ACT, Brainspotting, and EMDR has consistently produced significant movement for my clients, enabling them to navigate their internal struggles with greater ease. Engaging in brainspotting and EMDR fosters lasting change, enabling calm to become your new normal. Clients often report experiencing a shift toward living more meaningful and fulfilling lives, even when confronted with distressing thoughts or feelings. By cultivating acceptance of their emotional experiences while simultaneously committing to valued actions, individuals can make lasting changes that resonate deeply in their lives. This integrative approach positions clients to thrive, transforming obstacles into opportunities for growth and healing.

I will collaborate closely with you to create a comprehensive treatment plan that reflects your unique experiences, needs, and strengths. This process will involve assessing your specific concerns and aspirations, allowing us to establish clear and achievable therapy goals. By prioritizing your individual perspective, we will ensure that our treatment approach is tailored to support your growth effectively. Together, we will regularly review and adjust these goals as necessary, fostering a flexible and responsive therapeutic environment that encourages progress and personal empowerment.

In navigating the complexities of life, many find themselves in challenging moments, akin to being stuck on a bend in the road. Winding Road Therapy offers a supportive space to explore these feelings of uncertainty and confusion, guiding you through the decision-making process. With a focus on what truly matters to you, my approach helps clarify your values, ignites your sense of purpose, and illuminates the path ahead. Together, we can work towards finding your way home, connecting you with the insights and strengths that lie within.
